I have been thinking of selling my '65 Riviera for a while now.

When I bought it the motor (401) was in need of a rebuild, so I pulled it and had it gone through. It's had EVERYTHING redone. It was bored, new pistons, rings, bearings, freeze plugs, heads were completely gone through with new valves, springs, etc. I bought an Eelco adapter from a member and put a mildly built 700R4 behind it. Body is pretty straight but the interior is a little worse for wear. Original A/C, power steering, windows, seat, etc.

This is the only picture on my dad's computer.

If anyone were interested I could send them some more info.

  8. Great story! I too really like the looks of the old Rivs. I once had an older fellow tell me that no matter what "Do not sell your old cars, you will regret it for the rest of your life!" I guess that is why I live in a 100 year old house that needs remodeling, but have a new shop to house all my old cars. My wife reminds me that we are not selling any of them when I tell her I want to remodel our house. Love that lady!
