I really like those air cleaners! They have an "early '32" look to them. I dabble in making hot rod parts as well. I even make some dash panels now and then.

Nice. As do I. Most of the stuff I make can be seen on my IG. @graceandcoparts. I'm new to how the HAMB works and having difficulty navigating this app. I can't seem to get the search function to work. Where can I see your work?

I like seeing the really old flathead intakes. It shows the history of taking what you have and making it work

Not yet. I'm going run it on that scratch built roadster I started building a while back.

What great looking air cleaners. Great job!!
I'd be really interested in seeing a study
Measuring the decrease of air flow on these with a wix filter.
Also compared to other two barrel carb filters.

Hi Chris ,I have had a couple of your beautiful air filters for a while now . I love the thought you put into including light and wiper switches into this , a thing of beauty. It's always a head scratcher as to how to make these switches accessible yet look like they belong. Have you got dimensions on these? Would they fit a pickup dash? Please put me on your reminder list when they become available .

  25. "Would they fit a pickup dash?"

How about a 32-34 pickup exclusive design.

Admittedly a shitty picture, but this is an old Ford aluminum intake with an extra carb cobbled onto it. Was really poorly done, it's crooked, but makes a cool wall hanger. Not nearly the effort put into this one than yours has. I also like your air cleaners, they are reminiscent of the 216 Chevy truck dry air cleaners.

I was unaware that you could sell stuff on Instagram, I've never been on there but have heard so much about it. Not to hijack your thread, but is selling stuff on there free? Is it a good market? I think I might have to look into that.

You are free to post pics and sell all you want. There aren't many rules on IG that's why it's very easy and very popular. A lot of people buy, sell and trade through there. My entire side business is basically run through it.

  28. I just received two of the chrome ones from Chris - very nice product and can't wait to put them on my 32. It is really cool that creative people like Chris design and produce great products like this. THANK YOU!

    Take care,
