New computer lets me capture pictures directly off the DVD... And for you youngsters, thats Tony Nancy on the left.
Thats cool! I remember watching that movie when it came out.. seeing 'Project X' in that movie was what got me hooked on 57 chevy's! not to mention the rest of the cool iron in it.. Anyone know what happened to that 40? Thanks.

How 'bout a pic of when Tony Danza lets loose on the 57 when Clark tell's him "ok asshole, pull this yellow piece of shit over ....." haha, I got a kick out of the way that car launched..
Ah,another one of my personal favorite car movies.I just watched it again yesterday for the 50th time .
"Mother, I'm going to get laid" Yeah that was one funny movie. I liked the ford f-100 that his brother was driving. Is that 40 ford sectioned? That is one beautiful car. later shawn
I will pay for the Disc and The Shipping If Someone will burn that DVD for me.I have'nt seen that Movie in YEARS.I always thought that Movie was Great.Lemme Know. Brett
jimmy shine the young hot rod builder was proabably named after the guy in the movie...or its just a very weird coincedence.
"is that PISS YELLOW?? ...Nah, it's Tony Nancy yellow." i love that 40 Ford! sad about Tony passin away recently. but what a GREAT movie. one of my favorites of all time. i still laugh my ass off every time i see it. for years it was'nt available on video but Mongo had taped it off HBO or somethin one time and we literaly wore that tape out. it was barely watchable by the time it was available on video tape from the store. i bought the extra VHS copy from a local video store for $7, barely used. i'll have to get it on DVD now that it is available. i've prolly seen that movie no less than 80 times. Mongo, Springer and Pinball are right behind me on that number. i wish the ole lady was'nt watchin that American Idol crap right now or i'd pop it in. "MY DICK IS IN THE PUNCH!"
I hadn't watched that movie for years and bought it in vhs a few months ago to instill some culture into my kids! I got american graffiti coming in the mail to, I got it off ebay for a 1.24 US last week
I bought this DVD on ebay a while back. I just did an ebay search and it looks like there is around 50 of them up for auction right now.
There must be someone on here that knows about that '40 coupe. The first time I saw the movie (many years ago on HBO) I was just amazed at that car. I had never seen a custom '40 before (yeah, I led a sheltered life). The whole movie is great. Great casting (even Tony Danza was good), really cool cars and some really funny situations (those white boys naked in Harlem). I'll have to get the DVD. Vooooooolare' (fart!)
actually the movie was made in about 1984 and i quite certain Jimmy Shine is a little older than 21 years of age. plus the real life Jimmy Shine's last name is'nt shine. it's Falshiner, or something along those lines. it seems like i've heard the name Jimmy Shine in other (much) older hot rod movies though. just one of those cool names.
