Pictures don't even do those fenders justice. After seeing them in person they truly were an amazing find and well worth the drive.

Got a few hours in the shop today, enough to work on the fuel line and make a little bracket to mount the coil off some original threaded inserts in the firewall. Surprised to come out of the shop and it was snowing!

It's at a stage where you have to look really hard to see what's been done. This weekend was mostly finishing fuel lines, wiring, and running around trying to find a lower radiator hose. I made a wire form, the top hose was easy, but after three parts stores I couldn't quite find something with the right bends.
I have one other parts store, the hose number that Karl used on his 27 roadster, and a separate thread started to see if others have a part number that works. I'd really prefer not to splice a hose.

Post up if you have any part numbers.

The upper hose is 99-04 keep Cherokee. Oreilly 22484.

Teaser shot. One of the reversed rears had a pin-hole in the weld. The epoxy is setting up over night and will be on tomorrow.
Just enough clearance on the rears.
I held up a fender brace and they look good even with the wider track F1 versus F100.

    Enjoy!

Yes, hoping for good weather. I'm not sure if the top insert will be in it or not!

Will this get bobbed rear fenders?

Wasn't there something about white wheels earlier, or was that white walls?

I like it a lot, story and all!

Did I miss something in one pic you had over the frame headers, and then inside? What headers are on it now? I really like the look of nothing sticking out.

Volvobrynk, The car was originally a full fendered Hot Rod up to the early 1960's . My brother was planning on building the car as a 1953/54 Hot Rod, as a highboy, with the 16" wheels painted off white. My personal preference was to bring the car back to a 1962 look......Somehow it just seemed right, though you could argue the engine looks later 50's than early sixties with the 2-2 Edmunds.

Floored, maybe another build? I had one Belond header (inside the frame) but never thought I would find a second. Originally I was going to build a Belond "inspired headers" inside the frame, but decided to build the 3 into 1 instead. Then I found a set of Belonds! I've got those listed as the drivers side will never fit!

5.60 and 8.20 - 15's BF Goodrich Silvertowns. Something a little different than the Firestones, and the whitewalls are a little narrower. I had a hard time settling in on this ......but I like it.

I thought that too, and was thinking the rears would be too short for a highboy but it looks pretty good.

Does anyone have pic of this (incert pic)

    Or em I missing something.

I still like it fender less, I like it with fenders, but it would look better with bobbed rear fenders!

Got it rolled out if the shop today, and back on the lift. I'm working on the wood floorboards, getting the cotter keys in and thinking about exhaust.

Are you referring to the rear axle width? I have skipped through this thread so if you could clarify that would be great. I have a '32 5W and picking up ideas. Thanks.
