For the ones that couldn't make it to the Atlanta Dragway last Saturday, here's all the South East Gasser runs. Thanks to our friend Dylan Horton for the great video.

I wish they would make a DVD and have some interviews with the racers and show their shops and give some history and stories and put some racing footage in with it. I would definitely buy one along with a Southeast Gassers T-Shirt.

Cool video. I missed most all of those passes. Have y'all worked out double bulbing as part of the show in SEG?

Watch this guy, he has more fun than anybody else I know. He made a lot of changes on his car to be able to run with the South East Gassers. He has a ton of videos of him working on his car, "street dynoing", going to the races , and racing. He's "real as it gets". Get you some popcorn and watch his videos.

  12. loved the video, hopefully next season ill drive down and catch a south east race! best group of gassers.

They are eat up with personality. They really are a good bunch and Dale said he wasn't going to Commerce because he was saving up to go to Greer. Maybe he'll make it into the 7's, he's gettin' close.

Here are some photos of Gene Cromer and his Moonlighter Willys gasser I shot at Ware Shoals Sept. 27th, 2014. The South East Gassers were in town for some nighttime match racing.

That impossible!!! HAMB does NOT make mistakes! It's a www-error, and shifting the blame to the HAMB! :D

Any resent pictures of the Master builder duo from Anderson, aka Melvin and Gene, working on the cammer.

I love those late night pictures pictures in the shop. Or just picture of the Master doing machine work on his new mill

Gene qualified 7th of 11 cars and lost to the #2 qualifier and eventual winner Donovan Stott in the sbc powered White Trash Anglia. I'll post a couple of links to videos and a few pics. Gene also got the "Mr. Gasser" trophy presented by the promoter of the event.

Anyone know the name of the color blue on Genes car?

Always loved the old gassers in that blue color.

Qualifying 7th in an 11 car Gasser Field ain't too shabby for an octogenerian with one arm in a sling.
Just wait till he gets his new engine in, and is driving with two good arms.
Congrats for winning the "Mr. Gasser" trophy Gene !!

Looking at the pictures of Gene when this project first started to the pictures now, it looks like he is at least 15 years younger
