  1. Thank you and yes to save the head, probably won't pass any rules or tech - I made some passes without and if anything were to have happened it wouldn't have been be pretty. Still potentially safer than a motorcycle. I think it'll also allow much more use. A floor and helmet rest was also incorporated. It is very fun to drive. You've never felt anything like that under your right foot man. I dig your build as well. You are doing some great work. Nice work on adapting the coupler - that is nice and stout. Steering wheel looks great. Start saving for the driving suit :) That's another hole in the wallet. There will be lots of those lol

Warning--- If you have to or plan on running the spindle ty-rod foward you will have major steering issues where as the out-side wheel in the turn radious will pinch off and scrub. Move the ty-rod arm to get the ty-rod end as close to the wheel rim as you can safely. Many threads here that go thru the AKERMAN princple of steering-- in a sense a straight line from the center of the rear end thru the center of the front axle spindle center-line and the center of the ty-rod end. At minimum the placement of the ty-rod end should be 90* to the spindle axle using the kingpin center as the common point..

Here is the difference between the axles
A little bit safer this way, and the right one is famous to hold the strength. DSC_3110.jpg
