  4. I really like these images. They remind me of, tho are differentenough from, an artist whose photos were featured recently in Hemming's Classic Car. It's a couple in Michigan; great story too. Their web sight is www.ironageimages.com. You might like their stuff.
Your step van photos are fan-damn-tastic!

Thank you so much...I really appreciate the feedback! My husband comes on this forum all the time and kept telling me that I need to post some of my photography on here, so I finally did!! :D Here's a few more I took that day of the van, which is actually an old book mobile. My husband and I found it locally here in Tennessee during a drive out to the country one Sunday. This was hidden in an abandoned lot along with several other vehicles, and a 1950s "coloreds only" motel hidden in the overgrowth. More of the story of this place later. Oh, and that Ford is a Gerstenslager for anyone who is curious!

**EDIT TO ADD: These photos are from the inside of the bookmobile. That curtain was what separated the drivers seats from the "store".

And some striping I did on some really old iron......
The really old iron is a 1917 Port Huron Steam Traction engine.

This just gets better! Takin' time to set up art shots during a chop, tasteful photos of found art just waiting to be noticed and captured, painting, sculpture,.... This is the stop and smell the ( put your favorite aroma here ) part of rodding. It makes me sad that so few of my early cars were photographed, guess i'll have to draw them but then you'll never know what they really looked like! Maybe that's best! Thank you all again!

  17. Zombie, thanks so much for your hard work on my '39 Chevy, it looks GREAT. Now I have to get it done. Can't wait for the painting to arrive. Thanks again, Michael (BigO)

  18. I haven't had much time lately for painting or hot roddin, but a buddy rang and asked if I could do some of the little toolboxes for a bike show next weekend. So yesterday and today I got stuck in and came up with this lot

NOT REALLY ART, BUT MY SON WAS WELDING IN THE GARAGE THE OTHER DAY, AND I WAS PLAYNG WITH MY NEW CAMERA. THIS SHOT TURNED OUT PRETTY COOL. THOUGHT I'D SHARE IT. (BY THE WAY, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BUY THE $10.00 FILTER FOR YOUR LENS, IT SAVED MINE THIS TIME)
