Just got it so I havent done nothing to it yet. But... here it is. Lets see yours.
That looks pretty rust free. Whats the plan??
This is mine, a few months ago
Here is mine, primer and block sanded and sealed, just deciding on a color, stance and rims.
Ok, I'll bite. It's an older pic, but it's apart, and waiting for funds when I go back to work full time. About the year 2022. Your's looks to be in decent shape.
Mine seems to be the only one with the single side strip that I've seen.
58 Fairlane 500

Here's mine, a '64. Slow and steady on this one.
Couple of old pictures - my 1962 Ford Fairlane:
And my 1962 Mercury Meteor:
I'm hoping to finish off my 1962 Ford Fairlane over the winter, then redo the 1962 Mercury Meteor sometime in 2010.

First thing is I'm gonna patch that rust hole and clean the other small stuff. Gonna lower the back for sure. Floors, trunk, and frame is rust free. Just got NOS Foxcroft fender skirts from another HAMB guy. Maybe lake pipes? Interior is in great condition. Pretty excited.
Any one else?
Just made up a list of small things i want to accomplish in the next few months, been really dragging me feet for quite some time.
here's my baby, i know not everyone likes the four doors, but i love mine, perfect for everyone to load in the back and not have to climb in and out like a tudor.
1965. a cell phone picture and one from a 35mm...
Here's my '64 500 4 door in my avatar. Grandmother bought it new less than a year after I was born. That pick is from '91. It went through a major hail storm, tennis ball size, in '95, pretty discouraging, so it sat awhile. Just got a permanent indoor parking spot for it about 2 years ago so I'm in process now. Engine's out on stand, collecting parts for rebuild. Front cap is off, picked up a nice hood and trunk lid from a guy about 100 miles away I found on CL. Needs minimal rust repair to front floors. Will post some more pics when I take some. tnrotter
Here's mine. 1967 500. 289 2 door post car. I got it as a 3rd owner was that baby blue, and completely stock. Colorado/Wyoming car little to know rust. going to start to restore in the near future. was my daily driver for a few years.
Here is my 63 sport coupe. A survivor from CA. now has a 5.0 HO and a 4 speed.
Here's my '59 Custom 300 sedan. Original Connecticut Dragway sponsored car "Jack The Ripper" from the 60's.
Here is a group that I started, if anyone is interested.
I've had a few Fairlanes over the years.....and I'm already kicking myself for letting them go but I just didn't have room for them.
Here's my 64 old hardtop. A 260 car with a rock solid body. The motor was bad and we dropped a 200 6 in it just to get it going. I wanted a 500 post so I sold it....and never got a post.
Then I got the 66. It was a 289 car, low miles, no rust and original paint. I added Torq Thrusts and a 427 Crites hood but I sold it before I could get it repainted. It drove like a dream!
I also had a 1967 post that I had planned on putting a FE motor in it but soon found that was too big of a project for my income at the time.
There was a Thunderbolt in my hometown when they were new that was scrapped (as far as anyone knows) and I've always dreamed of building a tribute of that car. I just need to win the lottery first!
Here's a pic of a Fairlane that I find interesting. Someone built a 64 convertible.
Here is mine, many years ago. Doing a full resto on it now.
Back in the 70's this was Ol' Blue one of my street beaters 66 Fairlane rag top,... I think what 's left of it is still in the Metro Detroit area,... sure would like to get whats left of it back.
Here I am (as usual) spanking that puppy
I REALLY regret selling this car,...(I had better, rarer, faster, more flashy cars,... but I had a special connection to this car,... not sure what it was)
Here is a 67' 2dr/HT I have now that really needs a new home,.... PRONTO!
1967 427 with a Jerico.
Here's one we just finished up this past October.
