  1. I bet it whistled when it went down the road! Hahaha...!

  2. Well it did have some wind noise, no more then my bike and it was a little drier. I was in Redding at the time and when it rained the seats would get wet, but going down the road it stayed really dry.

  3. I see More model A's being built!

  4. We still have more!

30 coupe bought stock in 1960. Sorta resto-rod. 31 slant windshield with 34 commercial 4-banger. Counter-balanced crank. Coupe wheels changed, this is an old picture. And I broke off the front bumper irons in a snowbank after an ice storm. 100_1965.JPG

Some killer A's on here. I need to get back on the Coupe but I been trying to collect bits and pieces to build a flathead powered roadster. Really want one of those bad! Just need to find a body our enough pieces to build a body.

  13. Still working on this 29 AA. Plan is to fabricate an express bed (of sorts) using a 31 wide bed front, tailgate, U-channel and other bits and pieces and some 18-gauge bent up for the sides. Got a 351W with hogged out D0OE heads, 87 AOD and the front spindles, back axle, brakes, wheels, etc. off a 60 F-350 tow truck. Made my own tilt column keeping the look of a 60 column and wheel, so I guess its a 60s-70s hotrod.

Mark.....here is a nice Model A roadster from Lake Mills. Randy the owner runs the monthly Coffee and Cars event in Lake Mills. Check it out, if you want to know how to screw together a nice A hot rod.

  19. Ok I originally came on this thread as an outsider. No biggy I live on the fringe. :D

Now I can officially have an opinion (as if I really couldn't before I paid my dues).

So being the proud owner of a rattled out old sedan which eventually won't be I can officially post on this thread. I am today the proud owner of the Southern Employment Special.

Note: I probably originally voted coupe but this sedan has made me rethink my options.

  20. That's sweet pbr I need to get my body mounted on my frame so i have a roller. That probably would help my frustration with my build.

  21. Well its less sweet close up but its doable. The old girl ( I was going to say something inappropriate) has been sidelined since about '62 and deserves a second chance.

this body needs to come off the frame so I can do the needed work standing up. I may swap in the new old stock drop axle and the 3" channel first though then its off to the deck with it and time to sort out the important part.

I hope the nail finds a new owner soon. I don't want to store it once the other mill arrives. :D

  22. Congratulations to being a proud member of a Model A !

Sorry I've been unable to alter the Polls after the info has been submitted but you might know a moderator or someone of great knowledge that can change that issue!

Insinuating that a person of power may lack the capability! Hahaha!

  23. Well I maybe can see if someone can change the setting. I got very little power but I know a guy that knows a guy. :D
