    Next meet is Nov. 11-12.

Bobby, my hat's off to you- it takes alot of balls to go up against that wind knowing 2 of the previous 3 cars before you spun out. Congrats on the run!!! Hope to you see again at the next meet.

    Bobby-

Nice meeting you- You got the "real deal" man - Building a car to rule book specs and running it on the lakes is an accomplishment! I KNOW your tank has tremendous potential...93 with a 10mph head wind and too tall a gear, wow... simply awesome.

    viva la bang hers!

Great pics! Thanks for posting those. I was fortunate enough to make it to a meet at ElMirage last year, it was an awesome experience. Every hot rodder must make it out there at least once in their life.

We (Kelly & Hall Belly Tank) were the last car to run before the wind delay. Round and round at 175 mph. Neither Paul Kelly or the car were hurt. All in all it was quite a weekend for me. More on that later. Someone asked about the Thacker & Shine car. No, the didn't up the record. Wayno

  28. That's a nice belly tank. Are you the one that steered it on the return?

    Thanks,
    Kurt

    It's not a door.

The edge and handle are just painted on.
