I haven't seen this page out of MEDN since I was a 16 year old wandering around Aquasco in the summer 0f '63, reading the latest issue and just relishing in Ronnie's success. My brother and I used to follow him around the strips of the mid-East. Thanks for re-igniting those memories.

Hey Mike, do you have the rest of the mag? Does it truly focus on MD and VA? I'm looking for information on some racers based out of Maryland who were probably only mentioned in local news.

 

Looking for a specific issue of Drag times I think it was in August 1967 it has a pic of an anglia G/gasser on the cover.

That's George Carfi JR...his dad drove the Anglia (Sweat Pea) 6cyl chevy motor G/G and a Henry J before.

Sorry man, your post slipped by me. I just looked at that particular issue and the focus is Md. and Va. but there is an article about York too. Who were you interested in? Maybe there are mentioned.
