    Z-11's were a 427 cubic inch W motor.

The Little Giant raced at Dover Drag Strip most Sunday's and was always a crowd favorite.

Great to see Jack Merkel's old car again. I just finished recreating one of his old decal from 1961 for him.

A few captures from this awesome youtube of the 1965 Winternationals in Pomona. Even shots of the Odie car roaming around the pits..

There's a big difference between mom's plain jane, pure stock grocery getter and a customized and hot-rodded 1955 Lincoln Futura. No kidding the Batmobile was at the drag strip that day for some sort of promotion. Does that disqualify it from being posted in this thread? That's the message I got from your original reply. I say no.

  14. I say yes, you say no. We each have our opinions. Let's agree to disagree. I can live with that.

The Z11 was more than just a stroked 409. The top end was completely different.

It might be Dick Belfatti. Looks like the Belfatti/Vodnick Golden Shadow AA/FD.

This car is too new really for this thread... BUT, hows about a little trivia?

This car ran NHRA Super Comp from 1994 until 1996 largely unchanged from how you see it above (however, it was red) and won two national events. Guess who the driver was?

    Me!!!!

Somewhere I've got pictures of it from when we found it with the square hood scoop but already painted red. It ran, of course, a Reher Morrison 400" + small block chevy that later ended up in my '38.

Anyway, sorry for the off topic interruption... Couldn't help myself.

    Back to on-topic stuff!

Holy mackerel that is AWESOME. Or kismet or karma or whatever to end up in your own site posted unknowingly by a member.
