I've been storing this car for a buddy of mine for a while. He came to pick it up today so I snapped a few pictures. I don't know a whole lot about it, but it has a pretty rich history. It is a 1955 Buick. I am a hot rod guy, but I can dig this custom. It has been re-painted and plated, but the interior is untouched. Hydros in the front and the original nailhead and manual tranny. The battery was low so the we got the front up in the garage and left it that way. It looks rad laid out.
On a side note it is also for sale or trade, but this is not spam. I just thought you guys would like looking at it.

    Love the exterior.
The interior... well. The memories it brings back... or are they called flashbacks?
    Seriously though, nice custom.

Sorry I don't dig it, way to much going on, a product of the "I did more to my car than you " custom trend.....

So that's where Chico is this weekend.
The Busonic was gong to live in my garage for awhile, but he found another home for her in Campbell so that interested buyers would be able to see it easier.
I really dig the Buick, maybe we can force him to drive it once in a while.

that's one of my all-time favorites... thanks for sharing. Seeing new pics is a huge inspiration for my to finish my 56. I love the fins on that car. Any more info on the lifts?

If I remember right the fins are from a '57 Lincoln. Larry Watson painted her the first time around. Original juice, the second custom to sport hydros.

Nice car, but I wonder how many weird "specimens" are growing in that dash. Stu

Ive seen some pictures of this car when it was still a regular car, just a mild custom. It was fucking rad. Then Roy decided it was time to go full on showcar with it. It is just indicative of the time period for show cars. It is equiped with a record player AND a rullette (sp) wheel in the console.
