I have a ee-22 carb with this funky top on it. Does anyone know what this came off of? Thanks in advance.
http://forums.aaca.org/f119/stromberg-ee-22-carburetor-338904.html This is a rare, original dual venturi Stromberg EE-22 Carburetor used as standard equipment on many fine automobiles of the 1930s including Auburn, Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Ford, Graham, Hupmobile, LaSalle, Lincoln, Zephyr, Nash, Oldsmobile, Packard, Pierce Arrow and Studebaker. This carburetor is complete and the throttle and choke plates move freely. Stamped on the outside of the casting is Stromberg EE-22 South Bend USA, and the fraction 1-3/32 (venturi size). There are also various patent numbers stamped on the throat of the carburetor. Offered at $950.00. Here's rebuild kit. http://classiccarbs.com.au/Classic-...urettor-Overhaul-Kits?sort=p.price&order=DESC $160.00
Hi, thanks for the info, but that carb is different from mine. That one is 1 3/32 venturi and mine is a 1 3/16 venturi. Also That carb has a straight air horn while mine is bent at 90 degrees. The one I have looks cool but I need the exact application so I can get it rebuilt. Thanks
I just remembered that I had an old 1949 Chilton book. Stromberg EE-22's were offered OEM by these manufacturers. Buick:- 1936 (Early & late): 60, 80, 90; 1936 (Early & late): 60, 80, 90 with heavy duty air-cleaner. Chrysler:- 1935: C2-3; 1936-1937: C10-17; 1936: C11; and 1937: C14. Lincoln:- 1935: K; and 1936-39: K. Nash:- 1935 (Early), 3580.
