Hey Guys, I want to build a Custom Truck Bed and am looking for more Ideas. I dont want to put a Flatbed on it. and Not just a Box.. Something With a cool back end. Maybe blend in a custom Tailgate from a Wagon. Any pictures or Ideas would help.

No Bed yet. I want it to be 8' long

  6. Well then all you need is some square tubing and then you go hunting in the junk yards for body parts to cover it all up and create the fantastic shape everybody will wonder about!

    Good luck in your hunt!

Lots of Studebaker trucks with custom bed treatments. Here is one off the web. Several here on the HAMB as well.

I'd suggest finding the tailgate first & then shaping the bedsides & bedfront, etc. to conform to the tailgate (rather than vice-versa).

The Kopper Kart also had a custom bed treatment.

I know it's a flatbed but maybe a tailgate with a wooden lid similar to his tray? He's CNC'd out the skull and inserted a different species of wood in it...
    All ideas help I spose?
