Tiki God you hit the nail on the head for what I'm planning to build for my son. He's only 5months now though. I also mite have to do something like the wagon tric combo mentioned earlier.

  2. I know this is an old thread, but I had to post...

I've been looking for a couple of cheap steel wagins to customize for my kids (new or used). I came across this deal at Ace Hardware online outlet. Check out the link:

    http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/(3...3056F021E40209F2CD9684F14D2DE2B671615047029EE

These wagons are only $10.00 each!!! Compared to the $70.00 or so I've seen everywhere else. I ordered four of them and with shipping I spent $94.00 total. So I recommend going in with a group to purchase some if you like. I have a feeling that the $10.00 price is a mistake, but I got all four wagons today and plan to customize all four for my two kids and two others.

Just thought I would point it out to my HAMB brother and sisters first :)

This isn't a radio flyer, but I like it.It's a Sherrill Classic with about a years part time work in paint and body work to straighten it out.Paint by Sonny DePalma of WPB,Fla.
These are pics of pics as my house is too small to have it displayed

Ever since I saw this I beam keychain holder in the speedway catalog, I thought would make a cool front drop axle for a wagon. Just have to make some kingpins and spindles. 15 inches between kingpins, so it's about the right size too. Don't know how much weight it could hold though. It's cast aluminum.

I have 2 different size wagon wheels. 5 1/2" wheel and 7" wheel. I have no idea wheat they are and am looking for help. I am looking for hub caps, reproductions are fine. Ther are similar to the hubcaps in the top picture here. They are 2" in diameter for 51/2wheel and 3" diameter for 7" wheel. They start out flat, cone shape with raised area in center that is dome shape and says Radio line in center. They mouht with one tab and on screw. Does anyone know where to get tires for the 5 1/2" wheels.

I saw one exactly like you are talking about when I picked up my new to me welder yesterday.
it was made out of a standard size (about 30 inches long) red wagon set on a go-cart style front axle and rear axle with go-cart slicks that sat out from the body a bit. The pull handle was set up to work the tie rods for the steering.
He said he had sold a couple of them on Ebay.
He also had a really slick and professional go-cart that he had built. And I didn't think to get photos of either.
