Both Boss CAT II (In the truck) and Boss Cat III have been restored.

Here are a couple pics of the restored units.

Unfortunately the Turbonique powered Boss Cat I caught fire during a land speed attempt and burned down. Scuttlebutt has it that there is a group attempting to build a clone.

The seats can't be oem. Funny the thing was built so heavily, but the stock mickey mouse six foot bed was retained?

Could be a Merc body mounted on an articulating farm/tractor chassis?

Have you ever been searching for something specific on the HAMB and then gotten distracted by something shiny (or rusty more likely) and discovered a thread that was entirely unrelated to your original search; completely tangential and only borderline relevant years ago; but you couldn't resist bringing it back to life?

There seemed to be some interest in these specially equipped Model As fitted for rural mail delivery over snow. I don't know specifics, but I've seen this 2 door around the web before.
This cabriolet was also for sale a while back. It lives on.

I know what happed to at least part of another one. The truck 4 speed and rear axle in my pickup came from one of these ( I was told from MN) that had been dismantled. They had already been cut down to fit a passenger car frame. All I needed was a custom rear spring. I wanted the granny low for farm cruising, and I was tired of stripping axle keys in the mud, so I opted for the beefier rear end. I saw the 24" rims that came with it, but I opted to use regular truck wheels. With chains they get me everywhere I want to go.

So there ya go. Now that spring is here, enjoy some snow pictures from the last decade.

The Soviet Aerosan RF-8 / GAZ-98.... I got an 1/6 scale plastic model of that puppy last year. Haven't built it yet but was thinking about a blown Hemi in the back. Gary
