OK, I've been digging thru this and other threads on the topic trying to find out how to stick the lace to the side of a car and keep it from sagging during the application before you spray it. I'd like to lace the insets on the sides of my Falcon in the spring and do it myself if possible (I can live with that process as a "learning experience" :) ). But I'd rather keep the lace pattern in a fairly straight line to start with.

  10. I bobbed and painted this Harley fender to have the colors that I will paint my truck. Looking for someone to make a rendering and put on paper what my minds eye sees, but am glad the colors work well together.

I have really been enjoying all 68! Pages of this thread. Here is a technique I have yet to see any of you attempt. I have always wondered how Gene Winfield gets those laser straight narrow white stripes down the middle of the hood / trunk lid, and sometimes down the sides running the length of the car. These are not taped in any way. Just a very narrow fade. Do any of you wish to attempt this technique?

I finally got a couple to post that fit in this thread! A 63 Caddy I'm doing for another HAMBer, and my Softail Custom. Both, candies and pearls. 0704161736.jpg 0704161848.jpg 0727161816a.jpg 0730161513.jpg
