I got these fenders with a model a coupe I bought I dont know what they are but I know they arent model a. I would like to sell them but need to know what they are first. I have all four pretty decent shape too. There is a seam running from front to rear. If I turn the fronts over and measure from the peak in front of the wheel to where the running board bolts its 65 & 7/8" cutout for side apron is about 20". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Odd, as the fronts have an apron notch just like Model A. Rears with the bolt holes in the tops should be easy to identify from some of our Non-Ford HAMBers
Yeah they do resemble model a fronts. But with a seam running the length of them I believe some gm and dodges had the seam. The rears have big oval holes and a bracket on the inner rear. I hope I can figure out what they are for
Whatever they fit had a running board splash apron with a right angle bend, that should pop out in photos. I'm thinking Dodge Brothers or another Chrysler product. Bob
Been looking at lots of pics of late 20's early 30's cars chevy is def out I believe. '30 dodge is a possibility but rear fenders look wrong. Whippet rears are close but still wrong. I guess im going to have a hard time finding a match
rears look like 31/32 chevy. but may be earlier. some of them had a little scallop detail at the base of the fender, some didn't--don't know the reasoning--only that I like the little scallop detail.
I'm guessing 1929 Pontiac....notice the notch at the rear of the front fender on the green coupe. Same rear fender, too.
Havent been on for a while. Your right 31dodger those pontiac fenders are the closest ive seen. If thats right they are sedan rear fenders because of how the body comes out over top of them . Im going to look for more pics to verfy. Ill see if I can come up with a prize lol. thanks a lot!!
