I'm from "The Shwa". It is a little city in Ontario that makes GM cars.

 

ex 0f Ottawa ...then Alberta now here in laid back NS (Hi Adamo!!) I will see ya in May when I come up to get the pontiac which I left at Finks place!

Just recalling the Meteor, Niagara, Rideau, Montcalm, and I think the Astro was Canadian only. I am sure there are many more?

 

Just outside Edmonton where it hit minus 48 celcius with wind chill this week. I hate winter!

I had seen a Bricklin on Hwy 407, near Toronto. Now thats a true Canadian car.

I live near Tillsonburg Ontario. My driver is a '52 Meteor. Still has the original 255 Merc flathead in it.

 

Is this a Canadian built truck ? I remember reading up on it years ago but can't recall the manufacter/ coachbulider.

And, hey, don't forget Fargo trucks! And Maple Leaf's. And, slightly off topic for a rodding forum, the Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) WWII Army trucks. My brother and I have quite a few of them.

 

I'm in Caledon, a bit NW of Toronto. As for Canadian cars, there were also some that were badged the same, but the Canuck model was different. I had a 65 Valiant Signet 2-dr hardtop about 10 years ago. It was a different body than the base Valiant, or a U.S. sold Valiant Signet. Since they didn't sell A-body Dodge Darts in Canada until the restyle in 67 model year, the Canadian Signets used the U.S. Dart body style with the 111" wheelbase.
