I'm not sure how many of you guys knew Jay (C9) in person but I've learned that he recently passed away. He used to post over at our site a lot and frequently would link to articles and pictures here. I know these internet message boards can become a second family to alot of us so I thought I would pass this along. If this is in the wrong place feel free to move. Also if any of the admins read this I would like to get a copy of some of the stories he posted here ... if you don't mind. He had posted a few at our board and I think it would be cool to have a bulk of his stuff in one area.
Oh man, he is legend around here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=43 And threads he started: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/search.php?searchid=7811578
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. My prayers to his family. Was it sudden? I thought I saw a post from him about two weeks ago. He will certainly be missed.

WTF!?! C9? Oh man....this is a hard blow for the HAMB. He was full of knowledge and always willing to help.. He will be greatly missed...
Anyone know why he called himself C9? Looks like his last post was on 11-15, he was talking about driving his raodster somewhere and having a great time. Jeez - don't take your time for granted. This is sad for sure.
