My friend has a '66 lesabre with a 340c.i. engine. He can't seem to find anything in the way of intakes or headers or valve covers. Anyone running a 340 that has a line on anything? Thanks in advance.

I think 340 valve covers are the same as Buick 350, but to my knowledge, no one ever made an aftermarket intake for a 340. They're not like a 300 or a 350; they're all by themselves.

www.postonbuick.com makes some performance parts for the 340.

The 340 is a unique beast and was only made for two years. So its hard to get parts for.

If you buy the 340 headers off their site they are made for a different body than the le sabre and you will have to alter the drivers side to get around the steering box (ask me how I know that).

The previous threads posted here are really helpful!
