My buddy Geoff's '41 that I did some repair body work, paint, and pin striping on a couple years ago.

 

I have a strange fascination with these cars. I can really appreciate the attention to detail, the colors and the fact they are all finished to a high level. This thread was awesome and the cars are very impressive,nice work everyone.

I've been looking for a poster that I had on my bedroom wall as a kid.
Asked back in 09 on this thread, and I've asked on another, with no luck.
Found a pic of the same, or very close candy red 39 Chevy. I'll post it, and maybe someone will remember the poster. The car was in the center of a bright green background.
If you have seen the poster, yourd
never forget it.
Dont remember if it was a 38 or 39, but is real close to this 38.

 

The poster in question had been touched up with an airbrush, before going to print.
This was many years before the internet, and photoshop.
I remember it had details in small print at the bottom, which has me thinking it was made in the USA.
Would a been late 70s, early 80s.

 

...most likely that 39 Chev poster by John Pickle, think he just passed away this year...I have that poster somewhere, will try to find/post it here.
edit: ...you are correct it was a sedan delivery...still lookin

I'm also thinking it could have been a Sedan Delivery, as I don't remember side windows.
Funny what time does to the memory.
