Hi guys. Larry, sorry to hear the news on your hand. Hoping all goes well for you.
The trunk lid looks like a perfect fit (somehow that does not surprise me one bit ! ) Look forward to seeing the both of you at the Drags this spring. Take care.

This is the body fresh from the body shop. We did 3 applications of high build primer and blocked and reprimed 3 times just to make sure that we got every defect. It came out great.[IMG]

From this angle you can see that when we did the bottom of the floor we also painted it semi gloss black. IN the previous picture the little black spots inside the trunk are from over spray going through the body mount holes.[IMG]

The Randy Ferguson deck lid is just sitting in place. The chassis work will begin next. Thank you all for your interest.[IMG]

Body looks GREAT! Are those shop rags in the above photo for lifting the trunk lid? Bob

I put the rags on the body so that I would not scatch the fresh primer.

We tried for quite awhile to find someone who would buy it and put it back the way it was. We even listed it on the Dover Dragstrip sight but no takers. We also contacted the gentleman that built it but it had been so many years that he really wasn't interested in it anymore. The car was so gone after sitting outside that we decided to save it and put it to an all steel coupe. We still have the original parts that came with it. Maybe some day we will decide to sell and the next person can take over. For now we are going to continue with it.
