back in the 70's my friends father had batmobile clone he also had a qaulude press in basement any how cops raided house newspaper front page read holy qauludes batman true story

 

Over at the 66 batmobile site 250.000 would
put it back before George added the gadgets/crap

 

I'd finish all my projects and spend the rest on a nice dinner.

Well now I can say I sat in a Four million dollar car. On one of our annual winter trips to the GNRS we visited Barris Customs. Georges daughter gave us an extended behind closed doors tour of the place. The Batmobile and the Monkeymobile were in the back garage thats where I sat in both cars heck the keys were in the ingntion of the Monkeymobile.
As a pre teen growing up in the movie show car era those two cars were icons that gave any gear head minded kid a chance to dream about the posibilitys. I know what it did for me Kapowie, Zap, Kabooom

 

He must have some crazy,stupid money! He said he's gonna knock out a wall,and put it in his livingroom! And I thought I was cool with a Electra "Rat Fink" chopper bicycle in my livingroom!
