We have for a few years now had a triple carb intake for a Chrysler/Desoto and Dodge Truck L-head of Flathead 6 cylinder (25 1/2" Canadian Large block). After constantly being asked, we are in the process of building a dual carb intake for the L-head or Flathead 6 cylinder Plymouth and Dodge USA smaller block engine. (23 1/2") You can follow the progress or get more information over on our blog on the p15-d24 site! http://p15-d24.com/blog/17-keeping-up-with-the-aok-boys/ Blog Entries on the intake http://p15-d24.com/blog/17/entry-60...-new-dual-carb-intake-for-the-usa-flathead-6/ http://p15-d24.com/blog/17/entry-63...-new-dual-carb-intake-for-the-usa-flathead-6/ http://p15-d24.com/blog/17/entry-75-jan-8-update-aok-new-dual-carb-intake-for-the-usa-flathead-6/ And if you want to see the triple in action, check out our Rear Engine Dragster or my 1949 Plymouth Business coupe running the AoK triple. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8y7yB5J7YNWI2Rnnvn8rig The AoK triple for the Chrysler, Desoto and Dodge (Fargo) Truck (or Canadian Plymouth and Dodge).. the 25 1/2" L-Head/flathead is $495 + shipping. Stainless steel linkage is $150 and if you want built/rebuilt matched carbs they are $150 each (or $125 with an exchange carb) for carter ball and ball carbs. The up and coming AoK dual carb intake for the Plymouth & Dodge 23 1/2" block will be $450 + shipping with carbs and linkage priced at $150 (depending on what you need) if you buy a package of intake, carbs and linkage. Headers for either the 23 1/2" or 25 1/2" blocks are available now (made from stock exhausts) at $175 for a pair small block and $195 for a pair big block + shipping. thanks for looking. Just an update as I know we have had a lot of inquiries as to the status of our new dual carb intake. The pattern/mold was actually completed in February and the 1st manifold was cast for checking and testing. Sadly our friend who does our casting and does an awesome job, lost his wife to cancer. That brought the production to a halt and he has not gotten back to work yet. So we are hoping and praying he can get back to casting sometime this month. If not we may have to look at another option for getting the 1st batch of intakes completed. If you would like to be directly updated you can drop us a note to [email protected] and we will get you on the update list. We do have a few more triples left in stock for the 25 1/2" big block if your looking for 1 of those.
Well they are finally done. The AoK dual intakes were cast last week, heat treated and are on their way to us for machining. The pictures attached are of the prototype but shows the linkage and linkage block for the trucks, powerwagon and pre-WW2 cars as well as the tabs for that accommodate linkage setup going across the head. We hope to be in a position to ship either dual intakes for the 23 1/2" USA small block or the AoK triple carb intakes for the 25 1/2" Canadian big block Mopar Flatheads (that have been sold out for over a year)... within the next 30-45 days.
