I've also got a shop tour lined up - pretty much whenever we want to go - at Ross Lilleker's shop in College Station. Ross is re-babbitting my 'banger and is just about the only guy in the state that does this sort of work. His focus is mainly restorations (A & T), but he had an original Mercury speedster body and a hillclimb car in last time I was by. You guys lemme know when you want to go and I'll get it set up.

Also - anybody got a spare/junk Model A dash sitting around? I need to borrow one...

Since that's your favorite and its close to the Burnout venue I think Torchy's is good.

 

Thrashing on my car. . .really hoping to see you guys for a breakfast meet soon, I'd love to make Burnout but that will be pushing my luck!

 

You could always fake it and ride in with someone...

Breakfast at Torchy's ? Yea or nay, count me in at this time.

 

Saturday before Burnout at Torchy's is the plan because it's Fred's favorite yuppie tacos.

 

There was a knife fight Saturday, at MY favorite place for tacos. A yuppie wouldn't make it to the counter.

 

Does that mean you'll be joining us? I'm not sure who else is going to be there...

 

Is anyone going to the Longhorn Rod Run in Old Town Spring this weekend?

 

Of course I'll be there! 8 sharp.

 

OH! This weekend, weather permitting, I'm cruising to Texas City. I'm calling it, "A Just for the Hell of It Cruise". If anyone wants to tag along, post up.

 

Is that Torchy's in the Heights on the 11th?

 

Aldixie it's on 19th about 3 blocks west of Yale on the left.

 

If your familiar with the heights, its is in the old Harold's building.

 

Ok , been to that one in the past. On October 11th?

 

Saturday 18th, leave Torchy's and go to Burnout.

 

Is everyone just going to check out Burnout, or showing your rides?

 

FYI. This weekend on the 4th at the La Porte airport there is the La Porte auto and air-show. In the post it's been a smaller show but a good mix.

Bob and I, will make Torchy's, and the Burnout, we want be in our rod's. Bob and our buddy's are still going to the Day of The Drags on Saturday, Gregg are you going?
