Folks Of Interest Anybody got any news on Jake Moran's wife having an accident today on way to Louisville Nats?

I'm sad to report that I heard that Jake's wife was in a fatal car accident on the way to the Nats in their Lincoln coupe today. I sure hope my info is wrong!

Anybody know anything?

Unfortunately the information about Jakes wife is true. Heard about it today at the Nats. RIP June.

 

Sad news,Jake and June along with their Lincoln Zephyr were fixtures at all the NSRA shows for many years before he passed away and over the years we had struck up a friendship.

I felt fortunate to have know these two people,,they were the salt of the earth and now they are together again. HRP

 

Heard it from the Michigan safety rep today at Louisville. June was a wonderful gal!

Sad news to see. They were at an event in Texas years ago that the club I belonged to served as the host club for.

Don't know them but they sound like great people. My condolences to the family.

 

I am very proud to have been friends with Jake and June since the 80's. What great people.....N.S.R.A events will never be the same without them.

At least they are together again.
