I attended the funeral of Fred Schritt yesterday. A very sad day but now he is in a better place than he was in. Fred built the Apple Cart in the late 50,s, and many other hot rods that were iconic cars in this area. Fred will be missed, his body shop has been in Grand Island for years, hopefully it will remain. RIP Fred.
Thanks for the video HRP! Looks like Fred was a great guy that really enjoyed his life! May he rest in peace.
Condolences to the Schritt family on the passing of Fred. He definitely had fun getting there. Doesn't make it any easier however. RIP http://visitgrandisland.com/enjoy/characters/fredsflyingcircus.html "Fred built some pretty famous cars over the years including the Apple Cart and the Purple People Eater."

HRP, thanks for the video, I live in Grand Island, and had never seen that video. Fred had more talent in his little finger than most of us have in our whole body
