Great idea Ryan! 40,000 votes should be worth something.

(So is it too late for this year?) Surely there are at least 10 respondents to the other posts you could survey, post pics and let us vote.

I'll fallow you to the end Sir!:D

It realy is a good idea. Somehow I would imagine that they would kindly ask you to leave though if they caught wind that you were undermining the prescious award.

Maybe... but let me ask you this... Do you know what I look like? :)

This could very well piss off the folks of the GNRS. If they are smart business guys, it shouldn't as we are actually promoting the show with this deal. BUT, if it does... well, it does. They aren't going to stop me/us.

I'm thinking this will soon be a very coveted award.

After seeing the pics from the show, I don't know how that thing won that award. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Haha, there was an article I was reading the other day on the coker website with your picture so yes? but anyways, yeah business wise it would be great for them and now that im thinking about it I doubt with all the other crowds of website/car magazine photographers/journalists that there would even be a question.

A great idea...it's time to make this award RELEVANT again. Not to take away from the craftmanship of the winner, but that car has all the appeal of most new cars....in other words, it has none! :D

I love the idea and I love that it will be outlaw!

Suggestion: Those GNRS bureaucrats will try to stop you from presenting (or even bringing in) a trophy. So just present a nice customized Jalopy Journal, or HAMB jacket. Ain't no law against wearin' a jacket. You can slip'em a trophy and dated plaque later. My $.02

I'm thinking of something a little more monumental for a trophy... Think Indy 500... Winner from the previous year will pass it to the winner the next.

Be careful! This is how Billetproof started. One of the early ideas was to go to car shows and have our own show within theirs. We would hand out our own awards etc. Then we decided to just do our own show.

At one point, there was actually a car show held in the parking lot of a well-known event. It ended when security kicked everyone out.
