The lady was as gracious as she was full of spark! It was a delight to meet her & listen to the tales she told.

  3. Wow Denise... this is very cool!

Glad you could get together with her and spend some time with her.

Did you get any "burnout or doughnut videos"?

WOW, Wonder if I'll still have my Deuce when I'm 101?

She is a wonder to see and to be in such a young state of mind. We can only dream to be healthy and 100+.

I just got the link from a fellow worker then knew I could find a discussion on the H.A.M.B.

There was a post on the AACA website, Margaret Dunning passed away on May 17 at the age of 104. She was still attending car events and driving her Packard. Thought and prayers going out to her family and friends. Bob

Just looked this up, looks like she fell coming out of a bar in California at age 104 and 11 months! A life well lived!

Dammit. I was just reading her wiki page just blown away about how much this woman accomplished only to find out she died 3 days ago from something as simple as a fall.... would have rather found out she was on the salt flats and lost it at 200mph or something like that...what a loss...

  9. We should all be so lucky to live 104 years and stay relatively healthy and have fun driving a vintage automobile.

Sounds like she was quite a lady! Vaya con Dios Ms. Dunning..........E
