Hot Rods All Deuce Run 2016 (lot's of photo's)

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Jun 11, 2016.

  1. The 16th Annual All Deuce Run was a huge success, we had 35 deuces show up for the run today.

The Hamb was well represented with several guys driving some pretty long distances for this little event and I can't thank the people that participated enough, saying thank you seem so inadequate.

We had a bunch of first timers and every single one of them impressed me not only with the caliber of their cars but how easy going everyone was,we also had a lot of long time participants and several new cars.

The big portion of the cars were black and the 5 window coupes seemed to be in the majority.

These photo's were taken at the motel Friday afternoon, unfortunately most of the photo's were less than desirable so I won't post them.

BTW,not the best at photography, where they lack in quality I try to make up with quantity. :D HRP

The next group of photo's were taken Friday evening at Lancaster's were we had dinner,we had a lot of local Deuce owners show up enjoy the food and socialize.

  2. The starting point was the Target Shopping center,we had a little drivers meeting, passed out route maps and made sure all participants had the cool All Deuce sticker and passed out stickers for all the first timers.

Kinda glad my old pile of parts wasn't ready. It would have really looked bad.

  14. I'm still getting my roadster together, so I was a hitchiker this year. As has been said before there was a good turnout of new cars and new folks. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Here are a few photos I shot along the way...

Danny, this was quite a showing of Deuces plus some very pretty scenery. I liked all the cars no matter what body styles, but there was this particular ride that kept drawing my attention away from all the others. It had steelies, the correct stance, suede paint; it just looked RIGHT, the Lobeck look ! It was the black 2-dr.

Dave & Dave from the Pennsylvania posse had a great time and will be back next year.

PS. My idle problem was a vacuum leak from the blower pop off stud backing off. (minor).

I love all of the Smoky Mountain shots. Haven't been there since I left Ft. Bragg and the US Army in ' 71.
