Somehow I've triggered the alert button?, and now I have 4 pages of alert threads and still growing.
    How do I stop it?
    Thanks,
    Howard

Just above the HAMB banner on the right is the alert tab. It's the one with a lightning bolt on it.
Pass your cursor over it, no need to click or anything, and a short list of alerts show up.
Scroll to the bottom of that list and you will see "alert preferences".
Click on that and you can then turn off any and all alert notifications.
I think that will take care of it for you...

    scroll down to ALERT PREFERENCES

You will have 13 alert preferences to choose from.

If any are checked you will receive a alert. HRP

    Danny,
Yes, I've done that several times but I'm still getting alerts, six pages worth, so far.
    Thanks,
    Howard

I'm also getting alerts for threads I'm not watching or subscribed too, tried deleting now what?

  11. Guys ,I'm sorry I have led you down the wrong path,I was trying to figure out why you couldn't delete your alerts,,I was surprised when I noticed I had copied the wrong ICON.

You need to hold the cursor over the ALERT ICON and then click on alert preferences.

I deselected the first 5 and no longer receive all the emails. HRP

HELP....I'm receiving all types of "Alerts" and have followed the suggestions shown in this thread with no success? Several boxes were checked and I cleared and saved as required but still receiving alerts. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to stop this problem?
