    Wow great stuff blackrat40. I hope that we can help you identify some of the cars and drivers. Lots of great gassers so far and some cars that I have never seen pictures of.

    These are from the Caddo Mills Dragstrip thread and I wonder if it is the same car. The car is from Denton Texas and is an A Gas 37-38 Willys Coupe with pictures taken a few years earlier. image.jpg image.jpg

    I can't say for sure. The white Willys looks like one that I think Wayne Calvert ran at Caddo back around 1960.
    Maybe Wayne just sponsored it, I don't remember. Wayne still does engine balancing in Denton (in his 80's).
    I used to frequent Caddo when I was a teenager in '58-60.
