Go figure, but I love the Packard dash. I don't know what parliamentary procedure is for correcting old print, but it's a 34 instrument board, not a 32. I'm woodgraining 2 of them as we speak, er, read, and there's a finished 34 Roaster in the shop with that same board. The rest? Fuggin awesome feature. We just don't see a lot of tubs.
I That's a really neat tub. I once road in ChevyGrlRox's 29 in the back and man those stadium seats seem real sketchy on the thruway. I sometimes regret getting rid of that 32 I have especially seeing neat ones like that! I'd like to have a 29 one day done in a mid 60's LA Roadsters style. Americans, SBC and lots of rake.
I agree with you Ryan,but the bumpers don't really excite me like deuce bumpers would. I believe as much as a Deuce nut as I am I would prefer a 28/29 tub over a 32 tub,,they are just so cool looking when done right. HRP
I dig it, very clean indeed, well written too.... I dont dig the bumpers, but its his vision of perfection, not mine.
I have the mag this car was featured in. Pretty sure (without diggin' for it) it was a 1959 Hot Rod annual. My preference for bumpers would be '41's. You see them more and more but they're still pretty cool. And Danny, I like the 28-29's as well. Must be the way the front fender wraps the wheel/tire. Tim
But who am I fooling? The Round Up really starts now. Austin is already engulfed with hot rods and customs of all types and folks seem to be arriving every hour. It's hectic. It's crazy. But it's also fun... Hell, yes. Let the games begin!!!

The column shift made lots of sense in the narrow A. Plus it was just cool to do in the "day". Very neat package! KK
..speaking of tubs, I know where this ol'timer hot rod is sitting in a garage. It has beeen sitting for a least 25 years since it last moved on its own. It can be bought even! Has a Studebaker V-8 engine!!!

I'm a tub fan, first Hot Rod I rode in was a tub, and this one is cool. First thought on seeing the front bumper, was, push car for a race car. I always wonder where these old Hot Rods are now.
