Man......I wonder how many dropped axles found today....that have no known link to Cragar having dropped them ? I'm sure they had some local company do the work....but I never knew they offered the service at all. Pretty damned cool. Thanks for sharing your pop's stash. Even cooler.
Man this is killer. Thanks for sharing. I've always wanted to get an old Cragar blower drive set up. Someday, someday
I wish they still made the 4-71 blower manifolds, they work great on the street...cool stuff keep it coming.
Yes, I like their layout. I just wonder if the Horne 4-carb intakes are a Cragar knock-off, or vice-versa.
I have several of those Cragar catalogs N.O.S., the same as yours. they came from Sandy's Speed Shop in Massachussetts. they have a wealth of information for identifying miscellaneous hot rod parts.
Isn't that steel rim and aluminium centre? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/school-me-on-cragar-ss-wheels.234829/
I'm diggin' the postage address...................your Pops probably spent some quality off duty hours drooling over every page.............................
I jumped the gun on this. You are right, the rim is steel and the center is cast aluminium. Still, those rims were heavy.
Damn, I'll take a complete 4/71 drive kit for the 'Bucket of Ugly, please! Actually, it's killing me, but I know where there is a complete kit sitting in a back closet at a friends place... He just won't let go of it.
Nice find... I came across this the other day; whud ya think the going rate is? Recently I've seen separate parts priced, but not the whole lot Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
