I always felt Jayne Mansfield's breasts were too large. OK, I'm just kidding!

That was awesome! Now, how about digging up something similar comparing Ford, Chevy, and Plymouth?

  8. Top Gear is fantastic... and I had a feeling after reading the topic that someone would link the Reliant Robin episode. Enjoyed the hell out of those linked videos. Made my day Ryan.

GREAT videos, too bad the color (I think) was washed out. So did all the old Mopars get used up by off-roaders? The US version of Top Gear is a ppor 2nd to the British show. The Mopars were impressive, and not nearly as ugly as the GM cars. Plus, I love F-104s.

  16. Old school tests. Those roads were awfully narrow in the first video.
And where the hell was Jayne Mansfield? I need more!!

Favorite Top Gear is the Ariel Atom.

  20. One of the few "don't miss a single episode" shows. Crossing South America episode was one of my favorites. Cool videos.

Love Jayne (particularly in "The Burglar" with Dan Duryea.) Love Top Gear UK (US version sucks). Love those Forward Look Mopars. Love Old Uncle Tom McCahill, may he rest in peace. There was a man who could turn a phrase.

Great stuff, once again, Ryan. Thanks.

I think the reason our U.S. version blows along with almost every other American car oriented show, is that they are all geared towards the lowest common denominator, which of course brings large numbers, which of course brings large commercial revenue. The recent "Ultimate, All Time Chopper Builder in all of the Universe" show really sucked too. Of course I knew that going in and STILL watched it. I was so ashamed of myself I had to go get blessed.

Oh well, Jayne's pretty neat though.
