Cool Gasser! I love Sprints. I commend you for really getting after it like you have, what he ^^^^ said and your color choice should be perfect for it also.

finally got to lay some color down and this happened. finally traced it back to the rag I used to put gas on to wipe down the seam sealer had wax on it and it transferred to the primer and was a royal pain to get off of the car. took me about a day to fix this mistake

I have tons of pics to post just no time to upload them yet. Car is still coming along great. Hope to be test firing the engine within the next few days. Car will be getting lettered on the 20 of this month. Should make its first passes the 23 and have its debut at greer on the 25. Car still has to be wired, lexan cut and installed, engine and trans installed, and about 100 small things left to do

ready to bolt the intake on
    [IMG]
topend bolted on. notice the intake spacers used. had to adapt the 302 intake to the 351 since no one makes a cast intake for a 351w. Milled the plates down so that you don't really notice them unless you are looking for them. Also had to space up the distributor so that everything jives. Thanks to jimmy huff for the deal on the intake and spacers

Finally live on my updates. THis is how the car currently sits. Went to set the air gap on the clutch and realized something was wrong so everything had to come back out. Ended up being the pilot bearing was messed up and causing the clutch disc to stick on the input shaft. Ordered a bushing that should be here today so I can get back on schedule. Still have to wire and do windows but otherwise just a few small things. Its gonna be tight getting it done in a week to be ready to test then race next sat
