GG, a good way to extend the life of your air ride compressor is to not completely dump the system pressure to zero every time you park. On parking I usually drop the front and rear to about 50# which leaves the car too low for driving. After start up, I pump the front to 100# and the rear to 90# which is fine for cruising on my 63 BelAir. That way the compressor just runs a short time and not work too hard.

Everything looks good !!! The back of the front seat seems like a big blank canvas waiting for something. It's hard to beat viair comp tho. I've had a 380 and a 480 on my it daily, mounted upside down, and haven't had one problem. Ever. Gary does have a good point but viar is a superior brand for sure

GG, not trying to be critical but do you really need two compressors for a five gallon tank? On my 63 BelAir I have one compressor for a five gallon tank which is more then adequate.

  12. Can't wait to see the car with the supremes and some color on it. It should be bitchn'. Got a question for you...where did you pick up your spider rings for the wheels? I've been considering putting them on my wagon. Thanks!

how long does it take to fill that tank and how often do you used the air or adjust your car ? running two will just fill faster.

Thanks guys, and gman the only real reason is to fill the tank faster, i had planned on running an 8 gallon tank but couldnt find one that fit where i wanted it. I wanna have air on hand at all times, and everyone i talked to said to always run more compressor than you think youll need

GG, what's the rush on filling the five gallon tank? How fast do you need to replenish it? Like I previously posted, on my 63 BelAir I leave the front and rear at 50# when parked in the garage. After start up I pump the front to 100# which is already in the five gallon tank. I then pump the rear to 90#. My compressor probably runs about 40-45 seconds to fill the tank back up. What's the point of filling it up any faster? Why would you need it filled up any faster? Your not going for a hopping low rider.

I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm just trying to save you money. It would be different if you had a much larger tank. I just don't see the need for two compressors.

I've just never seen two compressors for a five gallon tank. Besides two compressors running at the same time is big draw on your electrical system for nothing.

I got them as a dual pack on a wholesale deal. Like i said i had planned on running the 8 gal tank and everyone i talked to said to run duals for the 8 gal. I just eneded up with a 5 gal because of fitment issues. I know im not going for a hopper, but i also know i wont be able to leave the switches alone lol :D

Tonight was eventful. Front lines are ran completely. Went to run the rear lines and while i was cutting the line.......

Wound up with a trip to the hospital and 4 stitches in the hand lol the cut was only around an inch and a half but it hit a vein and was bleeding like in the movies hahah. Looked like a hack n slash flick on the shop floor. Trail of blood all over.

Anyways as soon as the rear lines are ran, its just buttoning up the valve block and plugging up the accuair. Gotta work the next 3 days so it should be done tuesday and then im pulling trim and block sanding for paint

Cars on air. Simple install, very pleased with the accuair setup. Super quality and you can almost install it blind lol. Great stuff

I tried to keep the wiring somewhat clean. I despise wiring. 90% of this management system is plug and play

    Started pullin trim for paint

    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1400818484.017546.jpg

Does anyone know how to get the nut off the back of the trim over the rear wheel well inside the trunk? It looks plastic or something

In other news ive been starting to get in contact with a ton of nhra teams the past few days. I got a response back from dote racing about possibly volunteering to earn a spot on there top fuel team. Finally tried pursuing my dream job. Hopefully itll workout over time

Quick peak at the white. We decided against pearl, but it looks real good against the blue. Now to cut and buff !!!!!
