Customs 50 chevy trunk

does anyone know if the distance from the bottom of the trunk lid to the center of the key hole is the same in a 50 and a 51 Chevy? If not, what is the distance of the 51 bottom to center? I am wanting to use just a 51 Chevy trunk release key instead of handle that was on the 50 originally.

should be the same, but fleetline has different lid than sedan
