1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup This is a Original Pickup that is updated to make it a great driving truck. The interior has been refreshed to be very comfortable and look better than original. The engine bay has the same treatment. No 60 years of dirt and grease to mess with. Nice and clean and nice to look at as well. The body is basically original with original styled paint. It has that nice worn used truck look, but has been kept in great shape. It has been patched in a few places over the years, but pictures show how clean it is. If you are looking for a Concourse Show winning truck, this is not for you. If you are looking for a good driver that has the classic look and feel without worrying about scratches from the grocery store, this truck would be perfect for you. Drivetrain and Engine Compartment -Larger Upgraded GMC 248 w/ 4 Speed Manual trans -Newer Chevy 12 bolt rear end. Better gearing and brakes - Original style Brakes. Stops on a dime! -Entire truck has a brand new 12v wiring harness. Each wire labeled for quick and easy problem solving. Truck fires right up no matter if it has set for days or a few minutes. Runs Great, nice and strong. -Brand new Champion 3 core Aluminum Radiator and hoses. New 13" Electric fan. Keeps motor nice and cool. Exterior -All Rubber around glass is brand new. -All new glass other than windshield which was replaced at some point so its not old and original. -Wheels are brand new Wheel Vintiques and tires are not brand new but good tires that were on the truck. For Buy IT Now Price truck will come with brand new whitewall radial tires. -Wood in bed has been replaced with Yellow Pine. Sealed and installed with new bed strips. -New taillights and parking lights (lenes, housings, bezels and all) Interior -Interior has new seat cover that compliments the Antique white color. -Floors have been previously patched over, as there was little rust present. The floors are very solid. Gauges are original, truck shows strong Oil Pressure, and a new style Temp Gauge has been installed to keep an accurate idea of the temp of your GMC motor. -As pictures show, the steps are in decent shape, there is some blistering where rust is present, however its very solid and they have been coats with a rust terminating Rustolium. Truck runs well. Truck was a daily driver before the updates were made. As mentioned, it is not flawless and perfect, There are small odds and ends that could be switched or changed if owner wanted to improve the appearance. As mentioned the paint and body is in good shape. Being old paint there has been some touchup and there are some areas of flaking or cracks in paint. As pictures show. Please do not expect a flawless paint job when you buy this truck. This truck will start up and run very well for you. Being an original style truck, these did not come with Turn signals.
