I have a 55 ford with disc brakes on front (kit) and drums on rear, new everything, lines, m/c, prop vlv, etc, my problem is they will not panic stop, good firm pedal, fine on normal driving, they are manual, would adding a power unit help, thanks

  2. What Master Cylinder are you using? It may be the bore is too large.

    Manual disk brake pedals need a 5 - 7 to 1 ratio.
