There is an older guy I know that was involved in hot rodding back in the 40's and 50's. In 1951 him and some friends took a road trip out west from Michigan to Bonneville. He has pictures around somewhere and every time I see him I ask him about them, but so far he hasn't found them. A few weeks ago though, he gave my dad this. Which is the souvenir program from the meet. I scanned it, and now you all can enjoy it too.

slv63 thanks. Those are bitchen. I haunt yard sales and mostly estate sales. Gold mine some of them. I bought a set of S/W guages with senders for 5.00. the dust said it all. Also were Hop-up and several other 5X8 mags from the mid 50s. the NICE lady only wanted 10.00 for the lot. I slapped leather faster than Wyatt Earp.
its soo cool to real that Larry has the astounding amount of 2500.00 into his T bucket and Tom has spent 300.00 on this tuck-n-roll interior in his 32 ford.
the old stuff is the template.

Of all of the Bonneville programs, THIS is the one I desperatly want.

What not with the Kenz and Leslie Streamliner on the cover.

    Lucky you!

Thanks! 1951 is a magic year for me. My roadster is filled with 1951 L.A. newspapers. I have the Indy 500 program and now the Bonneville program.

    Thanks again!
