I haven't actually taken delivery, but I'm getting the cashier's check drafted tomorrow and the hauler is supposed to pick mine up on Friday. These are not easy to find, which makes them all the more desirable to me.
Rock, Glad to hear you went ahead with the purchase of the Buick! Now let's think of a good business reason for me to come down and visit you guys... ;-) Chris Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Well everyone it´s time for a small uppdate. Been working away getting all the small jobbs done. The side glas is all done and works fine. The front glas was delayed from Finland but it finally arrived last week. Sadly the interier guy fell sick and he had a lot of other work so he called me and said he wouldn´t have time to do it. So i called some other places and they all said that i will have to call back next winter. I decided to put the old interier back in, it dosn´t look to bad with some blankets over the seats. The headliner was a different story. The old one was shot so i decided to try and do one myself. Got some material and borrowed a sewing machine and to many hours later i had a headliner. It dosn´t look to bad, some say it even looks good. It will be redone next winter when i do the rest. This morning i drove it over to the glas guy, with about 5 degres plus it was a bit chilly driving without the front and rear glas. Hopefully he will finish it off today. Later this week i am taking it back to the painter so he can buff it. If it all works out i should be driving it next week. A pic i took this morning.
A few bumps along the way mate, but good to see you have stayed positive. Your a lucky bugger getting to drive it now she looks killer, I'll have to wait a fair bit longer yet. Cheers Darren

Had to try the instagram thing, works great. Took this yesterday when i picked it upp from the detail guy. I know black paint isn´t the best colour to keep clean and you see all the small scratches and stuff. I am not to happy with the detail guy, i thought all the small scratches would be gone and the paint should feel harder then it is. I tried some meguiars quick detailer on a spot and i seemed to get a better result with that. I am going to have to take it to another place and see what they say. What does everyone else use on there stuff to keep it nice?
Proportions are perfect. Absolutely love it! What size tire are you running? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
This car looks awesome. Don't worry too much about the paint right now it will take some time to fully cure, especially in the climate you have now just drive it! Give it 6 months before you wax it or don't use a polish that won't let it breathe. Once it has cured "Gelson" make a teflon style polish called "Star Clearcoat" which is the best thing I've used on black if you do half a panel you'll see the difference and it's like a protective coating.
