I've always loved your Merc ever since I saw it in Des Moines, even got a couple of photos from then. It sure was hot!
Oh my god ! I had hair and a beard!!! With my buddy Raplh Hansen (has glasses on )we built our mercs at the same time !! We where selling A&W rootbeer glasses !!!!
The last time I saw Ralph's "Cool 50" was in Decatur, Illinois at the '97 KOA show. It looked just the same.
Ralph's car was the first chopped Merc I ever saw in person. Small parking lot show in Green Bay. Hope it's still around somewhere Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This thread is full of beautiful Mercs! Lots to see, still checking them out. Post #8 shows a radical chopped 4 door with Minnesota plates. The Merc is still around but in much poorer shape. It hasn't been on the road in over 30 years, but the owner has considered selling it.
I always wondered what happened to it, I never forgot it, even though I've only seen a few pics of it. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
