    We're on another one.
This is an old truck that sat in a body shop for years and was pretty beat so it was a perfect candidate.
Gonna be a tire burner with a hot 383 stroker and 3:89 gear.
We're going for our standard ten week build.
Some pics of the process .

    It's done! 7 weeks total.
Still waiting on a tailgate that's back ordered.
    Pretty strong motor too.
Pulls hard thru all three gears.
On to the next one. 20170420_133933.jpg 20170420_133924.jpg

Awesome truck. Love this body style. My favorite year for chevy trucks.

20170410_174339.jpg Thanks for the interest guys.
Being retired lets me get a lot done daily and Randy hits it hard at night. We both worked long on the last few Saturdays and Sundays also.
If you check out the other build threads we don't take long to complete any of them.
This was a build for a local guy on his stalled project.
Someone had done some prior body work but the majority was unacceptable. We did a lot of backing up to make it all go together but it worked out well. Our first black patina treatment turned out nice. Randy was tired of doing green trucks!
I'm sure the owner will enjoy his new toy.
    Next one is a '52 F1.
It's already stripped down and going to the sandblaster. Stay tuned for a new thread.
