I bought this low mile sedan at goodguys Des Moines a few weeks ago. It's a 40k mile car with one repaint. The previous owner detailed the engine compartment and undercarriage. He also put the rocket wheels and lowered it with a dropped axle and blocks in the rear. I am going to switch out the wheels and tires for my old mag halibrand fronts and some black steel rears. Other than the wheel change I am going to put a early Ranger 8.8 or '57 ford rear in it to make it a little more highway friendly. Thanks guys. I've been wanting something more family friendly, my 32 5 window doesn't have much room for anything. thanks Plumbid, I seen your model a running around all weekend-very cool car!

Cool - maybe a supercharger needed? Family friendly = safety first.

my first intention was to put my 471 supercharged small block in it with a t5. But I hate to tear this old car up. I actually have been looking at small superchargers to mount on the flathead. I have come across some really neat old vw superchargers and also looked at one off a Mini Cooper. I am going to start with the rear end. the stock gear is a 4.33, so I am going to try a 3.25 to 3.5 and see how that works. Hopefully the fire breathing 60hp will still pull it.

    32fenderless,

Beautiful Willys sedan. I like the stance. What frame and suspension are under it?
    Thanks,

    Thanks Shifter,
The car is all stock with the exception of 3" lowering blocks in the rear and a dropped axle with the stock spindles. The previous owner gave me the factory axle and stock wheels with it incase someone wanted to go back original with it.
