I'm looking for 1940 ford stock perch bolts. I've checked Mac's, Joblot, and Dennis Carpenter and have came up with nothing. I'm guessing that I'm out of luck, but does anybody know where I can get them?
FYI: There are two types. The ones used with the 1940 sway bar (stabilizer bar) and the ones used without the sway bar. DeLuxe models had the sway bars.
They've got the flat top perches, but I'm looking for the stock style with the shock mount and the sway-bar mount.
Mine were the flat top ones. Try Bob Drake in Oregon or Dick Spadero (He's on here). One of them should be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck.
Standards could have sway bar as an installed dealer option. Deluxes came from the factory with it already installed.
I just noticed this post from awhile back. I work at the Early Ford Store in San Dimas and we have a nice set of those. Either the deluxe style or the standard style. If you still need a set, give me a call (909) 305-1955. www.earlyfordstore.com
Just missed a new old stock pair of sway bay ones on EBay $56 US. Completely forgot to get back on and bid.
