1937 Packard 115 C Convertible Coupe with rumble seat. This is a great original and extremely well preserved car. The car was recently removed from long term storage where it was well kept. Since being removed from storage, this Packard has underwent a major servicing. The fuel system was completely rebuilt. The brake system was completely overhauled. The original six cylinder engine has had a valve resurfacing job and a major tune up. It runs and drives excellent. The cosmetics are largely original having had one old repaint many, many years ago. The top is frayed and should be replaced. The upholstery is mostly original, very intact and usable. The body is extremely sound and tight with good door, hood, and deck lid fit. It does not appear that this body has had any damage or repairs and neither the body or fenders have ever been removed from the chassis. In many aspects, the panel fitment is better than on most restored cars. This car can be used as it is and a be a lot of fun-it really attracts a lot of attention. The car retains its original build tag and has spent most of its life on the east coast. It would be a great candidate for preservation class judging. I certainly would never consider restoring it. The Packard 115 models are rated at 100 horsepower, have a 115" wheelbase and a three speed transmission. They are very quick, lightweight cars that are easy to steer and lots of fun to drive.
