The "X's" on the bead show the area that was stretched on the stretcher.

Thanks for the feedback on the wheel wells. Frustrating for sure. Hate to buy the rear quarters from Steves just for the wheel wells to fix my project. Wonder how close his fit they look real nice. Looks like you are coming up with some creative fixes tho.

  4. These wheel wells came from Howells. I talked to them yesterday and they are supposed to get back with me next week. maybe the drivers side was twisted? I also gave Midwest Early Ford and Dick Spadarro a call, and they both said those pieces were fine for just using the inner fender part for installation , and not really for using for the beltline of the body.

Cory got side tracked with a new car project. It was some kind of nasty new Ford, galaxy or something.:)Probably had one of those buzzers that reminds you about seatbelts. :) But now its back to the 34. More update pics coming.

I have no real sheet metal work to be done on my car except rechopping it and you guys are going to blow right by me! Great work and great time efficiency. You guys are killing this. I need to go back to page one and take some notes.

I really appreciate you guys keeping this thread going. I am building a 34 5w as well, and it needs about the same amount of metal work. I had bought a set of those Tom Bay wheelhouses for mine, but after seeing everything you are having to go through I have ordered another set from Donnie Smart, even though his don't have the crows foot detail. Keep up the great work!!
    Thanks...
    Sam

Wow!! Wish I had a '34 Coupe. You got more step by step photos than Bishop and Tardel. Going to be nice, have always liked this year.
